Behavioral Health Resources 

State of Oregon Addictions and Mental Health Division now has a new All Hazards web page. Included here is Annex F: Behavioral Health from the State of Oregon Emergency Operations Plan

Substance Abuse & Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) is a wonderful source for disaster behavioral health materials. Six videos are posted on this website that average 20 minutes viewing time and provide a rich source of information.

Psychological First Aid: Helping People Cope During Disasters

The Department of Psychiatry and the Center for Disaster Medicine & Emergency Preparedness at the University of Rochester Medical Center developed a self-study online program that offers information to support survivors, their families and disaster responders in the immediate aftermath of human and natural-caused tragedies. The whole program is approximately 75 minutes, broken into three sections that incorporate slides with easy-to-follow narration.
